Handcrafted from natural brass that has been gently antiqued to give it a subtle aged look, our Cavendish pairs a plain handle and button ends with an elaborate back plate that is reminiscent of the door pulls found in stately homes or period properties. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are finished to the highest standard at our Suffolk workshop. The Cavendish has a heavy, tactile quality that makes it feel as good in your hand as it looks on your door. The classic design suits both period and modern properties, while its generous size looks particularly good on large or double doors. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one. To lighten the brass just buff it occasionally with a small amount of brass cleaner to return it to its original hue.
