All our silk candle shades have a fabulous natural sheen and distinctive weave that makes them stand out from the rest, however, as a natural fabric they do need looking after as they can fade and deteriorate over time.

SILK CHARACTERISTICS
As a natural fibre, silk dupion has a prominent textured slub in its weave that is irregular in appearance and there may be variations in shade. Fading and deterioration may occur over time, especially in sunlight and is more noticeable in darker colours. We don’t recommend it for lampshades that will sit in, or near, a bright window. Please take a look at our lovely collection of faux silks which we have sourced for customers wanting the look and feel of pure silk in a more robust fabric.
