Our switch plates are all made with a slimline brass or steel backplate that sit flush against the wall, with either a straight bevelled edge for a sleek, modern look to your home, or an uneven, hammered edge for a more rustic feel.Triple pole isolators are mainly used in bathrooms where they work to isolate the power to extractor fans so they can be controlled independently without affecting other circuits. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop. These switches are 10amp and require a minimum 35mm back box (see recommended accessories). The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives it a lovely soft black wrought iron effect that looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be re-waxed occasionally.
