The Brooke is a classic wall sconce with a simple shade arm design that offsets a fabric shade (sold separately) beautifully, allowing you to style it as you like to complement the rest of your room. The Brooke Wall Light's neat, unfussy presence looks equally at home in a contemporary setting as it does a period one, and with the added benefit of enabeling you to choose its orientation. Fit the Brooke upwards for traditional appeal, or downwards for a more contemporary take on your lighting scheme. And why not pair it with one of our fabulous fabric shades, handmade by our skilled team here in Suffolk, to bring added softness to a room. A fabric shade allows more light through its sides so is a great way to add layers of light to a scheme, as well as brightening up a dark corner. We recommend a BC (B22) Golf Ball LED Filament bulb as the perfect accompaniment to your light as they light up instantly, are warm white in colour and are dimmable. If you prefer a sloped shade, you will need one that is made with the correct shade fitting - for a lamp base if you are fitting it with the bulb pointing up - and with a pendant fitting if you are fitting it with the bulb pointing down.
