DESCRIPTION Meet the latest addition to our statement lighting lantern collection – our bold new Chesterfield Pendant – a generously sized ceiling light that will take centre stage wherever it is fitted. Similar in look to our much-loved Bonham Lantern, the Chesterfield features a similar large bell jar glass shade and brass lamp holder trio, but with the addition of beautiful fine ribbing on the glass and a decorative finger ring at the bottom. Inspired by Georgian lighting schemes, bell jar lanterns were used with candle or oil lamps in vestibules and entrance halls as the glass prevented candle flames from being blown out when the front door opened. Our Chesterfield has three bulb holders circling the central stem to ensure there is plenty of light where needed. Shown above in our antiqued brass finish, the Chesterfield comes supplied with the glass shade and brass fitting but the bulbs will need to be purchased separately. Supplied with: Fordham Brass ceiling rose and 1m of bronze braided cable and chain.
