These knobs are generously sized with a 6cm diameter and are as practical as they are decorative. They are for internal use only and are designed to fit doors with a mortice lock. They come supplied as a pair with a spindle. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the highest standard at our Suffolk workshop. Shown above in a white finish, these knobs have a lovely tactile quality that feels as good in our hand as it looks on your door. The paint is applied with a powder coating process that creates a smooth hard-wearing surface. The knob handles are sprung on one side.ARE YOUR HANDLES SPRUNG?Our lever handles are sre sprung on both sides of the collar assembly to allow them to spring back into place after they has been pulled down.Knob handles have a turning mechanism rather than a lever one so they only require being sprung on one side. CAN I GET A LONGER SPINDLE?All our door handles are supplied with a standard length spingle that is 7.5cm long (7.5mm wide) and can be cut down to the depth of your door.We can supply a 9cm length spindle upon request.Our Rim Locks come with a longer spindle that is 12cm in length. A 13cm spingle can abe supplied upon requestDO YOU DO BESPOKE MODIFICATIONS?You can opt for different style handles on each side of the door as long as they are both knob or both lever handles.
