I have always like to visit Jim Lawrence in the past, but being unable to travel to Essex I had to order online. I spoke to staff members beforehand who were very helpful. I ordered the Orla light fitting which was on a 5 week lead time. I was anxious about delivery of such a fragile item but had no choice.

I was delighted when the fitting arrived two weeks early and it was packed brilliantly! No way this was getting damaged. The product was beautifully made, easy to install and looks absolutely stunning. Thanks to all the team for such good service from sales advice, production and dispatch. We hope to visit you again.

I ordered a Porter Sofa Floor Lamp in matt black with shade in the Isabelle linen as a birthday present for my daughter; it arrived solidly packaged and before the estimated date. She is absolutely thrilled with it. She is using it as a bedside floor lamp and it looks stunning, exactly the right height. It will also work next to the sofa in the lounge.

I am a huge fan of Jim Lawrence lighting and have slowly built up a "collection" over the years. Whilst not cheap; the products are high quality as befits being used in a 400 year-old farmhouse on the Welsh Borders.

We have used Jim Lawrence products for two house renovations over the last 15 years - one home was an old country cottage and our current house is more modern. The quality of the service and product has been consistently 5 star.

We have never been disappointed with any product from door furniture for the cottage to lamps for a contemporary bedroom (our purchases include; all types of lighting, door furniture, sockets, curtain poles and tie backs and hand rails for staircases). We recently purchased a floor lamp for our hall – I was sent samples of materials and had various conversations with the amazing sales Team. Their patience and guidance was 5 star.

We decided to have a bespoke lamp shade made with our own fabric – I was informed of progress throughout and the lamp arrived very promptly. We are utterly delighted with the lamp. I would say that the customer service and quality of product is the best we have experienced throughout our many years of renovating properties.

Over the past few years we’ve ordered various pieces from Jim Lawrence - light fittings, lamps bases and shades and door furniture. Most recently we ordered 3 pendent light fittings for the hallway and landing. They look amazing! We absolutely love them. We hummed and haaad for ages about which ones we liked best and how big they needed to be before going for the Walcots. We ordered by phone and they arrived the next day. I’m so pleased with them and can’t fault the service.

I recently ordered two black made to measure bespoke wrought iron bay window poles and a straight one from Jim Lawrence, and I have to say from start to finish they were a delight to work with. The brilliant customer service team made it very easy for me as being a designer myself, ordering an expensive product for a client, I was worried about making a mistake.

With guidance from the team, I was sent full measuring instructions that were easy to follow so my fitter was able to measure accurately. The poles were delivered to site one time and once installed looked absolutely spectacular. Just how I planned them to.  So, very happy me and even more happy client. I'd highly recommend Jim Lawrence to anyone in the curtain business looking for a quality brass and wrought iron poles.

I recently bought the Harleston Table Lamp in Beeswax with Fluted Glass, plus a 30cm Medium French Drum Shade in Natural Isabelle Linen. The lamp is extremely elegant and stylish and and works well in either a contemporary or traditional setting. The quality and finish of both the lamp and shade are first-class - I am so pleased with my purchase and will be returning for more items in the future!

This company makes beautiful unique products and has a fantastic customer service. I've ordered some light fittings after a long time looking around and they are one of a kind. The wall light looks amazing in my bathroom. Recently one of the bulbs stopped working and this excellent company replaced it immediately. They were really quick and I would recommend them for top quality customer service.  I am sure I will be back ordering some more lovely items.
