Dress your doors with our delightful Norfolk Door Pull in Beeswax in a classic design to suit period and modern homes and that will not date. Featuring a hand forged strap style handle and pointed finials, the Norfolk has a beautiful, weighty quality that feels as good in your hand as it looks on your door.

All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk workshop. The Norfolk is made from high quality steel that has been Beeswaxed for a soft, black, rustic quality that will enhance the look of your doors. It is also available as a latch set and a smaller drawer pull version for your cupboards and drawers.

Kindly note, we do not recommend the beeswax finish for bathrooms or outdoor use, as it may rust in a humid environment. We feel that Matt Black is the preferable option.

Finish

Beeswax: A traditional technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be rewaxed occasionally. For more information about our Beeswax finish and how best to maintain it, please read our Beeswax page in the Jim Lawrence Knowledge Base.

We also recommend...

  • Our Norfolk Latch Set for a complementing latch set.
  • The Norfolk Drawer Pull for your cupboards, kitchen cabinets and drawers.
  • For a uniform look around your home, try matching your Beeswax handles with our range of window stays and latches and switches and sockets in the same finish.
