Shown above in matt black, this butterfly hinge is made in our forge and then painted in matt black for a smart, uniform black finish that suits modern and period interiors. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metalworking techniques that have been passed down through the generations and are hand finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk workshops.
Our butterfuly butt hinges are suitable for hanging most sized doors as well as cabinets and trunk or chest lids. Generally used in pairs and fitted to the top and bottom of your door, you may need to use a third in the middle for larger or heavier doors.

Finish: Matt Black - A clean uniform finish that looks fantastic in any contemporary or traditional interior and works well with natural building materials like brick, stone, wood and plaster. To achieve it, the paint is applied with a powder coating process which creates a smooth, hard-wearing surface.
