DESCRIPTION Our stunning Bromley Door Handle range takes its inspiration from a heritage of great British design, incorporating traditional reeded detailing with the best modern materials and handcrafted skills to produce a great quality handle that will look fabulous for years to come.The Bromley is a classic handle available in a variety of back plate styles and our forged iron and antiqued brass finishes to ensure it suits any style of door. The Bristol back plate has straight, bevelled edges that gives it clean lines; perfect for a contemporary feel to your door. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards at our Suffolk workshop. This Bromley is made from forged iron and painted matt black for a smart, uniform look and has a wonderful weighty quality that befits its handmade nature.The handles are supplied as a pair with back plates and fixing screws in the same finish. They are sprung on both sides and with a 75mm spindle that can be cut down to the depth of your door.We can supply a 90mm spindle upon request.PRODUCT INFORMATIONBackplate Dimensions: 15cm H x 5cm WPlate: A Privacy plate is used for any door where privacy lock is required such as bathrooms and cloakrooms.FINISH: MATT BLACK - A clean uniform finish that looks fantastic in any contemporary or traditional interior and works well with natural building materials like brick, stone, wood and plaster. The knob handles are sprung on one side.For more information see our guide - Door Handles FAQ >ARE YOUR HANDLES SPRUNG?Our lever handles are sre sprung on both sides of the collar assembly to allow them to spring back into place after they has been pulled down.Knob handles have a turning mechanism rather than a lever one so they only require being sprung on one side. CAN I GET A LONGER SPINDLE?All our door handles are supplied with a standard length spingle that is 7.5cm long (7.5mm wide) and can be cut down to the depth of your door.We can supply a 9cm length spindle upon request.Our Rim Locks come with a longer spindle that is 12cm in length. A 13cm spingle can abe supplied upon requestDO YOU DO BESPOKE MODIFICATIONS?You can opt for different style handles on each side of the door as long as they are both knob or both lever handles.
