Our beautiful brass Battersea Table Lamp is traditionally designed and stylishly simple so that it will look equally at home in a contemporary setting as a period one.  Generously proportioned at 55cm high, with a clean silhouette and rounded base, it will brighten up any sideboard, bedside table or console and fits seamlessly into a living room or study.

Shown above in our antiqued brass finish, this lamp is a perfect choice to bring a touch of old fashioned style to your scheme and works well with almost any colourway. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk workshop. The Battersea is made from solid, natural brass that has been gently antiqued to give it a subtle, aged look and has a lovely weighty quality that befits its handmade nature.

The simplicity of the Battersea's design means it will suit any shape shade that is around 30cm in size, but we think it looks particularly good with a Medium French Drum shade as pictured above.

Finish

Antiqued Brass: A beautiful, natural finish produced by distressing the brass to create a soft patina that is then treated with antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process and create a lovely aged look that will darken naturally over time. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one. To lighten the brass just buff it occasionally with a small amount of brass cleaner to return it to its original hue.
