Our Cream Killowen Linen is a beautiful off-white that is particularly versatile as it complements natural building materials such as stone, bricks plaster and wood and is suitable for most interior colour schemes. Linen also allows plenty of light through the fabric, as well as from the top and bottom, making it as practical as it is beautiful. Shown above in a 25cm size, this shade is the perfect partner for our table and floor lamps where the bulb points up. Linen is a beautifully soft, yet tough, natural fibre with a thicker, slightly stiffer yarn than cotton. It is delightfully porous, lightweight fabric that softens with use and wicks away both heat and moisture, making it ideal for lampshades. It is also naturally hypo-allergenic. The weave has a subtle slub when looked at up-close which lends a charming simplicity to modern day interiors, perfect for creating a fresh, informal feel in a room.
