If you can't find the right shade from our extensive 'made to order' collection, we may be able to make you a bespoke lampshade. Our skilled soft furnishings team make all our lamp shades by hand, so you can choose to have any of the shade sizes and styles we offer in any fabric from our fabulous collection. Kindly note: All bespoke shades need to use one of our existing shade frames.

HOW MUCH WILL A BESPOKE SHADE COST?

The marjority of our shades are already available in a range of fabrics, shapes and sizes. If you can't find what you are looking for we can make a bespoke shade for you from one of our existing shade frames. We charge the price of the shade + an additional 25% to cover the additional labour costs.

HOW DO I ORDER A BESPOKE SHADE?

If you can't find what you are looking for in our collection, we can make a shade for you. First of all find the sizes and shape of shade that you would like.

We make 9 styles of lampshades in a wide range of different sizes to suit any lighting needs.

From our 9.5cm tapered candle clip shades, to a 50cm wide cylinder shade for the largest floor lamps, we have a multitude of sizes to choose from.

3. SELECT YOUR FABRIC

Once you know what shape and size of shade you need, the next step is to find the perfect fabric from our extensive range of quality silks, velvets, satins, linens and cottons.

Can you make any sized shade?

NO - We are only able to make bespoke shades from the wide range of frame sizes and shapes that we offer.

Unfortunately, we cannot make completely custom-made sizes as it is not cost effective for our busy team to recalibrate our frame-making equipment for indiviual orders.

Can I have a shade made in a different fabric?

YES - If you would like a shade made in one of our fabrics that is not already offered as a shade, we should be able to make one for you for a small additional 'bespoke' cost.

Kindly note - fabrics with horizontal stripes do not work well on shades with sloped sides. Vertical stripes are generally ok, while fabrics with large patterns do not work well on small shades.

Can you make a shade with my own fabric?

YES - We will always try our best to accommodate your wishes, so if you have a fabric you would like to use on one of our shade frames, the best thing to do is send us a swatch along with your contact details, so we can make sure it is suitable.

Our Customer Services team will contact you with a quote.

Remember - fabrics with horizontal stripes do not work well on shades with sloped sides. Vertical stripes are generally ok, while fabrics with large patterns do not work well on small shades.

I need a shade with a pendant fitting

We offer a wide selection of pendant fitting shades in our most popular shade styles and sizes for you to choose from.

You can browse Pendant Shades here.

Any shade with straight sides and in plain or geometric patterned fabric can be used as a pendant because it can be turned upside down.

If you are thinking of using a patterned fabric, make sure you are happy with how the pattern looks upside down.

If you can't find a suitable pendant we may well be able to make one for you. Please call our sales team to discuss your requirements and obtain a free quote on 01473 826685. Remember, if you are using a patterned fabric, you will need to tell us which way up you would like it.

Can I get my shade lined?

We can line many of our shade shapes and sizes with silver or gold card if you would like something with a little extra wow factor.

Please call the sales team to discuss your ideas and make sure the type of shade you would like lined is suitable.

There is a small additional cost for these linings.

Lamarsh Shades

These are a very specific shape as they are designed to fit our Lamarsh wall lights and do not work well with thick fabrics.
