The Langham Wall Light makes no apologies for a distinctive, angular design that will bring a contemporary touch to any room where it is fitted. With a rectangular backplate and sharp, 90 degree shade arm, its straight lines give it a clean, minimal style that looks fabulous paired with a square or rectangular shade that reflects the look. Alternatively, you can soften its appeal by pairing it with an oval or French Drum shade.
Our Langham is hand forged in solid steel and finished in beeswax, a traditional method for darkening metal used since Tudor times that produces a soft black colour. Visually, the Langham has a strong, heavy appeal that would suit a larger space.

Beeswax: A traditional metalworking technique used since Tudor times. The metal is heated until it darkens and then dipped in natural beeswax which gives is a lovely soft black wrought iron effect which looks fabulous in any traditional or contemporary interior. As beeswax is a natural finish that reacts with the underlying metal during the forging process, it often has a subtle, slightly mottled patina with undertones of deep grey or ochre. It is not waterproof, so will need to be rewaxed occasionally.
