A statement ceiling pendant with a striking cage-style design, our Sophia Pendant manages to look both modern and classical so will slip comfortably into a contemporary lighting scheme as it will a period setting. Its fluid metal lines form a teardrop shape that calls to mind the decorative bird cages that were popular during Georgian times, while the dainty cylinder shade in Limestone Waterford Linen brings is bang up to date. The Sophia is the perfect piece to create a focal point in a hallway, stairwell, or high ceilinged living room or bedroom, where it will add lovely layers of light to your room.
Handcrafted at our Suffolk workshops, the Sofia is made from high quality forged iron in a choice of finishes and features a central shade arm that supports the lamp holder, and comes supplied with a cylinder shade in Limestone Waterford Linen. This version is finished in old gold for a subtlely luxurious look that complements any interior.
- The Sophia is supplied with 1m of old gold chain, brown cable and a ceiling rose in the same finish.
- We recommend our SBC Golf Ball LED Filament as the perfect partner for your pendant as it has the look of a heritage bulb, lights up to full strength immediately, is dimmable and is as bright as an old style 40-50W bulb.
