HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN MADE-TO-MEASURE POLE 1. Use our guide for tips on How to measure for a curtain pole.2. When you know length of pole you require, the next step is to choose the supporting brackets from our range of 12mm brackets in polished. We make a range of different styles - Chapel, Brett, Sleeve, Recess, Extended and Double Pole for you to choose from.3. Select the finials you would like from our range of 12mm finials in polished. All our made to measure poles are hollow so the finials slot inside them and are fixed by grub screws.4. Finally, work out the number of curtain rings you require. We recommend 1 ring per 7cm of pole. PRODUCT INFORMATION Pole Length Any length of pole can be ordered, but if over 150cm long we would recommend using a central support bracket If over 180cm long the pole will be supplied in two (or more) equal parts with a joiner rod. The join will be covered by your centre bracket. As we don't manufacture adjustable passing brackets or rings to help support our 12mm poles, we recommend a maximum pole length of 300c Finish: Polished - a gunmetal finish that highlights the natural colour of polished, lacquered iron for a vintage or industrial look that suits a contemporary setting and will update a traditional one. To produce the finish, we coat our steel products in a metallic lacquer that emulates the texture and patina of iron and gives the product great character that looks wonderful with grey or natural colourways and works particularly well with other metallic finishes such as nickel.
