With its unashamedly bold design, our super new Salthouse Wall Light marks a first for us. It is the first time we have designed a light that puts its bulb centre stage, and we make no apologies for its beautiful brash appearance. Our take on industrial lighting from the 50s and 60s, we feel the Salthouse adds a modern twist to any room. Pair it with our SBC Golf Ball LED bulbfor maximum effect.
The Salthouse has been given the Jim Lawrence touch, with a traditional brass fitting that is available in a lightly antiqued brass finish for a classic aged look, or in one of our contemporary painted finishes for a touch of urban chic. With its simple lines, spun metal shade and tilting head that can move through 90 degrees, it will make a statement wherever it is hung. All Jim Lawrence lights are made using traditional metal working techniques and are hand finished to the very highest standards here at our Suffolk workshop.

Finish
Antiqued Brass: A beautiful, natural finish produced by distressing the brass to create a soft patina that is then treated with antiquing solution to speed up the natural tarnishing process and create a lovely aged look that will darken naturally over time. Antiqued Brass is an incredibly versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork and looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one.
Where does it look good?
- Used as statement lighting in kitchens, dining rooms and hallways.
- Fitted above kitchen counters for tasking light.
- Try them on spaces between windows or in alcoves to create lovely layers of light.

Very dainty
This made for a very suitable bedside lamp for our new bedroom makeover. I love the way you can adjust it and being so small it goes well with the rest of the decor without taking up too much room.
Use a Pattress for walls with no cavity
Not enough room to hide your wires? Wiring in period homes can be a tricky business as building materials such as stone or lathe and plaster do not allow for making a cavity in which to hide the electrics, which is why our design team have come up with this brilliantly versatile, neat little pattress that you screw on to your light's backplate to give added depth.
