This bulb has a small bayonet fitting (SBC, B15), lights up to full strength instantly, is dimmable and has a lumens (brightness) that is equivalent to a 40W regular bulb. LED bulbs are incredibly energy efficient, only using a fraction of the energy of a regular bulb and lasting, on average, around 15,000 hours of use.

Not cheap but worth it
These are a great substitute for old school candle bulbs: the filament style looks good and they’re properly bright. Such an amazing step forward from the CFL ones they replaced (especially for my sight-impaired mother). There’s not much choice in SBC bulbs so these are a real find. Excellent service from Jim Lawrence.
