DESCRIPTION Our hand forged, solid steel Button holdbacks are the perfect match for our Button finials. Shown above in our contemporary mercury finish, these holdbacks will make light work of keeping your curtains drawn back as well as offer you a decorative touch to your scheme. Available in two sizes, the larger one is generally recommended for curtains where there is more than one width of fabric used, unless it is a particularly light fabric, or unlined. Mercury is a light grey, highly reflective finish that works particularly well in a contemporary interior and with other metal finishes such as our polished steel lacquer or nickel. It is achieved by coating the metal with multiple layers of mercury paint over a black base coat to create a deep, lustrous metallic finish.
