Our Chiswick Mirror is a beautifully handcrafted, classic piece that will make a statement over a fireplace, or as the centre of a tableau on a console table or mantelpiece. It will suit any room in your home giving an impression of space in a small room, hallway or landing or bringing its reflective qualities to light up a dark wall or bathroom.
This Chiswick is made from solid, natural brass that has been nickel plated for a bright, reflective look that will not date and sits comfortably in a traditional setting as much as a contemporary one. All Jim Lawrence products are made using traditional metalworking techniques that have been passed down through the generations and are hand finished to the highest standards at our Suffolk Workshop.

Nickel: Our nickel finish has a bright, silvery quality that is more akin to Chromium than many other nickel finishes available elsewhere. Its lustre is created by plating solid brass with highly polished nickel then finishing it with a flash coating of chrome that will add to its durability. Nickel is a versatile finish that works well with any colourway and natural building materials such as brick, stone, plaster or woodwork. It looks equally at home in a modern property as it does a period one and being highly reflective, will catch the light more than our painted finishes, so is great to use if you want to make a statement, as it will help draw your eye.
