We're unable to offer a refund or exchange on bespoke or made-to-measure goods unless they're faulty.

Should you wish to cancel your bespoke or made-to-measure product for any reason, it's highly unlikely that we could sell it to another customer at full selling price. We therefore reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the full selling price once we have started to manufacture the product. In respect of these products our usual refund policy does not apply, and products cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.*

(*None of the above affects your statutory rights when goods are faulty or not as described. For your rights of cancellation under the Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations please see below.)

We are often asked how we determine which handle or latch is "left side" and which is "right side" as it tends to be different from one company to the next.

Our system is in fact very easy to use and works around which side of the door the latch or handle will physically be fixed to. The easiest way to determine this is to have a look at which side your hinges are on: If for example, your door has the hinges on the left then you will require a right side handle or latch. If your hinges are on the right, you will require a left side handle or latch.

Application Advice

To create the perfect look using our Country Paint Collection please view our handy Guide to Paint Application.

General colour advice

Whilst every effort is made to display our paint colours online as accurately as possible, it is strongly recommended that sample pots are purchased before full orders are made as we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display will match the true colour of the paint. It is also always recommended that before any application a small test patch is carried out, paint out a section and allow to dry before evaluating colour.

Batch colour variance

Although every batch material is weighed to within 0.1g and tight specification and quality control guidelines are always observed slight variations in colour and sheen may occur between paint batches. We advise that you check if you have paint from the same batch before decorating. If they are different you should intermix tins of varying batch numbers before each application. We recommend where possible paint from the same batch is used for the repair/touch up coat. If a different batch is used, intermix paint with any remaining paint from the same batch used on the wall needing repair. This again will help to avoid any visible variation in colour tones and finish. Over time paint colour may slightly alter both in can and on the wall and this is why a ‘touch up’ approach can cause difficulties when trying to achieve a uniform finish so we would recommend a full single coat is applied to achieve best results.

Returns Policy

Due to the nature of the product please be aware we will only accept paint returns if the tins are unopened and undamaged.

Storage and disposal

Paint is water-based and therefore should always be protected from frost. Store upright between 5ºC & 25ºC. Always replace lid after use & use within 12 months. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Dispose of contents/container to waste disposal site in accordance with local/national regulations. Contact the local Environmental Department for disposal instructions.

Please always follow all health and safety advice as per the instructions detailed on the tin.
